This study looks at fear of cancer recurrence in people with kidney cancer and their partners. It aims to understand and help manage these fears. You and your partner may join if you had surgery for early-stage kidney cancer.

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma) or are the partner of someone who has.
  • You had surgery for kidney cancer that had not spread beyond the kidney (stages T1, T2, or T3).
  • Your surgery was within the last 0 to 120 months (up to 10 years ago).
  • You and your partner (if applicable) speak, read, and write Danish.
  • You can attend meetings online or in person at Gødstrup Hospital.
  • You do not have any condition that affects your thinking or memory, or an untreated serious mental health condition.
