  • The tooth has a dead nerve (necrotic pulp).
  • The root tip is still open (open apex).
  • The tooth does not have a crack, root damage, or gum pocket.
  • The tooth is not loose (class III mobility).
  • No unusual growth or developmental problems in the tooth.
