Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You had an ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke at least 6 months ago (your condition is stable).
  • You have moderate to severe muscle tightness (score of 2 on a standard scale) in your shoulder or elbow muscles.
  • You have some arm movement problems but can still participate in follow-up visits.
  • You can understand and follow instructions (a simple mental test score of 24 or higher).
