Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are willing to have an MRI brain scan.
  • You are not claustrophobic (afraid of small spaces).
  • If you have chronic pain, your pain has lasted 3 months or more and affects at least 4 body areas.
  • You are not planning any changes to your pain treatments in the next 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant, and you do not have certain eye conditions or a seizure disorder.
