Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have secondary AML (which started from a prior blood disorder) or high-risk myelofibrosis with more than 5% abnormal cells in your bone marrow.
  • Your cancer has come back or did not respond to at least one or two prior treatments (depending on the type).
  • You cannot have a bone marrow transplant right now.
  • Your kidneys, liver, and blood counts must be within certain limits.
  • You must be well enough to be up and about (ECOG score 0-2).
