Who can take part

  • You have active acute leukemia (cancer growing in the blood or bone marrow) or leukemia with KMT2A, NUP98, or NPM1 gene changes
  • Your bone marrow has enough leukemia cells (bone marrow blasts at least 5%) or leukemia has returned in peripheral blood
  • Your white blood cell count is below 25,000 at enrollment (you may be allowed to reduce it beforehand)
  • You are able to take part physically (ECOG 0–2 or good functional status score ≥50)
  • Prior treatments side effects have mostly improved (generally back to Grade 1, except limited Grade 2 neuropathy or hair loss)
