Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for elective coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) heart surgery.
  • You are at least 18 years old, male or female.
  • You can speak and read German well enough to fill out a survey after surgery.
  • You are willing to come to follow-up visits, including CT scans.
  • You do not have a metal allergy (like to nickel or titanium).
  • You have not had previous heart surgery through your breastbone.
