Study on TAVI results based on patient differences

Aortic StenosisTAVI(Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation)Computed TomographyInflammatory Response During Cardiac SurgeryInflammation

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This trial is for people with severe aortic stenosis who are already scheduled for TAVI (a procedure to replace a narrowed heart valve). It looks at how individual differences affect the procedure's outcomes.

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis (a tight heart valve).
  • You are scheduled to have a TAVI procedure.
  • If you have an active infection, you cannot participate, but having a chronic inflammatory disease or cancer does not automatically exclude you.

NCT07201363Recruiting
Inflammation and scarring markers after TAVI

This study looks at markers of inflammation and scarring in people who develop heart rhythm problems after having a TAVI procedure (a minimally invasive valve replacement). It may help doctors understand and predict these complications.

NCT06679517Enrolling by invitation
Long-term follow-up for severe aortic stenosis patients considered for TAVI

This study follows patients with severe aortic stenosis (a heart valve condition) who are being evaluated for a keyhole procedure called TAVI. It aims to understand their long-term outcomes after the standard evaluation process.

NCT06713889Recruiting
Study of heart valve disease and events

This study looks for biological markers in the blood that might help predict heart-related events in people with a narrowed aortic heart valve. It aims to improve care for those with this condition, whether or not they have a procedure called TAVI to replace the valve.

TAVI registry for people with severe aortic valve disease

This registry follows people with severe aortic valve narrowing (and sometimes a worn-out valve) who are considered good candidates for TAVI, a valve-replacement procedure. It helps doctors better understand outcomes and care over time.

Can pressure measurements predict TAVI success?

This study looks at whether pressure readings taken during a heart procedure can help predict how well patients with severe aortic stenosis improve after getting a new aortic valve (TAVI). It aims to find better ways to track progress using standard pressure measurements.

NCT06508866Recruiting
Studying heart rhythm changes after TAVI procedure

This trial looks at how the heart's electrical system may change after TAVI, a procedure to replace a narrowed aortic valve. It aims to better understand these changes to improve care for future patients.
