  • You had a stroke (blood clot or bleeding in the brain) more than 6 months ago.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have moderate to severe weakness in one arm.
  • You are able to understand and follow instructions.
  • You have no other implanted devices like a pacemaker.
  • You do not have severe speech or swallowing problems.
