Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older with stage III or IVa nasopharyngeal cancer (not T3N0).
- Your tumor must be positive for the Epstein-Barr virus (EBER) and the EGFR protein.
- You must not have had prior treatment with an EGFR-targeted drug or an immunotherapy that blocks PD-1/PD-L1.
- Your cancer must not have spread to distant parts of your body (no metastasis).
- You must have a sample of your tumor (from a biopsy) available for testing.
- You must be in good overall health (able to take care of yourself, ECOG score 0 or 1).
