Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and had a living donor liver transplant between 1 and 20 years ago.
  • Your donor and you match on at least 6 out of 12 key immune system markers (HLA typing).
  • A recent liver biopsy shows no signs of rejection.
  • You can stay within 3 hours of UCLA Medical Center for the first 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant and agree to use birth control for 12 months if needed.
