Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and under 65 years old
  • You have end-stage kidney disease and are already a new kidney transplant candidate through the standard process
  • You must have at least a partial immune match with the donor (HLA match in A, B, or DR)
  • You must be able to sign consent and follow birth control rules for at least 1 year after transplant (if able to have children)
  • You must not be allergic to rabbit medicines (rabbit ATG) or have a medical reason you can’t safely receive low-dose radiation
  • You can’t have certain infections or blood count problems, including HIV, hepatitis B/C, active infections, very low white blood cells, or very low platelets
