Who can take part

  • You are a man between 40 and 75 years old.
  • You have a PSA level over 4.0 ng/mL or an abnormal digital rectal exam, OR you had atypical small acinar proliferation (ASAP) on a previous biopsy.
  • You have had a multi-parametric or bi-parametric MRI with a PI-RADS score of 2 or lower, OR 3 or higher.
  • You have not had previous rectal surgery or anal stenosis.
  • You are not on blood-thinning medications like Coumadin, Lovenox, or Heparin.
  • You are able to tolerate local anesthesia (lidocaine) in the prostate area.
