Who can take part

  • You are between 19 and 35 years old.
  • You chew gum at least sometimes, even if just occasionally.
  • You are in good overall health and have healthy teeth and gums.
  • You do not have any brain or nerve conditions, muscle or bone diseases, or injuries to your face or neck.
  • You do not have neck pain, two or more missing teeth, braces or a retainer, active gum disease, or untreated cavities.
  • You either have a diagnosed jaw joint problem (temporomandibular joint disorder) or have never been diagnosed with one.
