Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You have mild or moderate asthma that has been well-controlled for at least 6 months
- You are not currently using inhaled steroids or certain other asthma medications (you can stop them for 48 hours if needed)
- You must be willing to avoid caffeine for 24 hours before each breathing challenge
- You cannot be pregnant or nursing a baby
- You have not had an asthma attack needing oral steroids or a hospital stay in the past year
