Who can take part
- You have a clear diagnosis of Parkinson's disease (the type that starts on its own).
- Your tremor (shaking) is not well controlled by medications.
- You are able to lie on your back for 2 to 4 hours inside an MRI machine.
- You do not have dementia, serious memory problems, or other major brain disorders.
- Your balance and walking are good enough based on a doctor's exam.
- You do not have a pacemaker or any other reason you can't have an MRI.
