Who can take part

  • You are 40 to 70 years old.
  • You had a stroke 6 to 18 months ago.
  • Your stroke severity score (NIHSS) is greater than 6, meaning moderate to severe stroke symptoms.
  • Your Mini-Mental State Exam (MMSE) score is 24 or higher (showing intact thinking and memory).
  • You do not have serious problems understanding speech (receptive aphasia).
  • You do not have major heart or lung conditions, or other neurological disorders.
