Who can take part
- You are 21 years or older.
- You are scheduled to have cataract surgery.
- You have at least 1.75 diopters of total astigmatism (an irregular curve in your eye).
- Your cornea (the clear front part of your eye) has an irregular or asymmetric shape in the central 6mm area.
- You do NOT have significant corneal scars, prior eye surgery (except planned cataract), severe eye injury, or conditions that might loosen the lens bag.
- You are not pregnant.
