CT scan of heart fat after heart attack

STEMI - ST Elevation Myocardial InfarctionEpicardial Fat

Treatments studied

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study uses a CT scan to look at the layer of fat around the heart in people who recently had a heart attack and have type 2 diabetes and obesity. It aims to understand how this fat relates to inflammation and heart health.

GLP-1 and SGLT2 drugs for heart attack recovery

This trial tests if combining GLP-1 and SGLT2 medications can reduce inflammation and improve heart function after a heart attack in people with type 2 diabetes and obesity. It looks for patients with a specific type of heart attack, elevated CRP levels, and preserved heart pumping ability.

Heart drug study using CT scans to check fat around heart arteries

This study tests whether a heart medication (SGLT2 inhibitor) affects fat around the heart's arteries in people who have had a heart attack but do not have diabetes or heart failure. It uses a CT scan to measure changes over time.
