Vacuum thrombectomy for pulmonary embolism in cancer patients

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with cancer (new or past).
  • You have a blood clot in a major lung artery confirmed by CT scan.
  • Your blood clot is considered intermediate risk (not causing shock).
  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You are generally able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0-3).
  • Your blood counts and organ function are adequate for the procedure.
