Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have been diagnosed with a blood clot in the lung within the past 24 hours
- You have active cancer (diagnosed in the past 6 months, or currently receiving treatment, or cancer that has spread)
- Your blood pressure is stable and you are not in shock
- You are not already in the hospital for more than 24 hours
- You can come back for a checkup after 30 days
