- You must be 18 years or older.
- You already agreed to be in the SECURE trial and had a carotid ultrasound with contrast dye.
- The earlier ultrasound showed at least one area of plaque in your carotid artery.
- You can understand and sign the consent form.
- You are not allergic to the ultrasound contrast dye (microbubbles).
- You are not pregnant.
