Who can take part
- You have had your first-ever brain bleed (intracerebral hemorrhage).
- You are between 18 and 85 years old.
- Your level of consciousness is very low (Glasgow Coma Scale score of 8 or less) when admitted to the ICU.
- The amount of bleeding in your brain is less than 60 mL, or you have a certain type of bleeding around the brain (subarachnoid hemorrhage) that has been treated.
- You were able to walk and take care of yourself before this bleed (modified Rankin Scale score 0 or 1).
- A family member or legal representative can sign a consent form for you.
