Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You weigh at least 40 kg (about 88 pounds)
  • You have had asthma for at least 1 year
  • You use a medium or high dose of inhaled steroids every day for at least 3 months, plus at least one other asthma controller medicine
  • Your lung function test shows that your breathing is below normal but not extremely low
  • You have had at least 1 asthma flare-up that needed treatment in the last year
