  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes (with or without nerve damage symptoms).
  • You do not have nerve damage from other causes such as injury, vitamin deficiency, or other diseases.
  • You do not have advanced kidney failure, thyroid disease, or a history of heavy alcohol use.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have a pacemaker or other implanted heart device.
