- You have been hospitalized for heart failure or have had symptoms like shortness of breath or swelling that needed treatment with water pills.
- An ultrasound of your heart showed the wall between the lower chambers is thicker than 12 millimeters.
- Your ATTR-CM diagnosis was confirmed by either a tissue biopsy or a special heart scan that shows protein buildup without signs of a different disease (AL amyloidosis).
