Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer that is both hormone receptor-positive and HER2-positive.
  • You have not had any previous treatment for your breast cancer (like chemotherapy, radiation, or hormone therapy).
  • Your cancer is stage II or III, meaning it is large or has spread to lymph nodes but not to distant organs.
  • You must be in generally good health (able to do daily activities) and your heart, blood, and kidney function must be within certain limits on blood tests.
  • If you can get pregnant, you need a negative pregnancy test before starting and must use reliable birth control during and for 6 months after treatment.
