Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have had a spinal cord injury for at least 6 months.
- You have a bladder condition due to nerve problems (neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction).
- You use a catheter to empty your bladder intermittently (not a permanent tube).
- You live at home, not in a hospital or nursing facility.
- You have not taken antibiotics by mouth, IV, or placed in the bladder for at least 2 weeks.
- You are not pregnant.
- You do not have other bladder or reproductive organ problems besides the nerve-related issue.
- You are not using antibiotics or bladder rinses to prevent infections.
- You are not in another research study that could affect the results.
