  • You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your weight should be in a healthy range (BMI 18 to 30).
  • You must be scheduled for surgery on your belly (abdomen) under general anesthesia.
  • You must be able to understand the study and a pain scale.
  • You cannot have certain heart, lung, or bleeding conditions, or be allergic to the study medicine.
