Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 90 years old.
  • You are having surgery that needs a breathing tube placed through your mouth.
  • Your BMI (a measure of body weight relative to height) is 35 or less.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have neck tumors, goiter, or past radiation to your neck.
  • You do not have any major facial or neck injuries or birth defects that affect your face or jaw shape.
