  • Your shoulder pain is caused by supraspinatus tendinitis (a specific tendon) and has lasted at least a month
  • You have a body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 29.9
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You do not have diabetes, a pacemaker, or metal implants in your shoulder
