Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are having an acute ischemic stroke (a clot blocking blood flow in the brain) and the start of symptoms or last known well time is within 4.5 hours.
- Your doctor has decided to treat you with intravenous clot-busting medication (thrombolysis).
- Your blood pressure is higher than the recommended range for thrombolysis (for example, above 180/110 in some regions) but below 220 mmHg, confirmed by two separate readings.
- You or a legally authorized representative can give consent (or a deferred consent process is allowed).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are not enrolled in another trial that could interfere with this study.
