Who can take part

  • You had a stem cell transplant from a donor (not yourself) for a type of blood cancer called acute myeloid leukemia or a high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome.
  • Your cancer did not respond to treatment or came back before the transplant. This means more than 5% of cells in your bone marrow were blasts after chemotherapy.
  • Within one month after transplant, tests showed no sign of cancer (called MRD-negative remission).
  • You are not on dialysis, do not have severe heart or lung problems, and do not have uncontrolled infections or active graft-versus-host disease that is not controlled.
  • You have not taken part in another research drug trial in the last 3 months.
