Who can take part
- You are 19 years old or older.
- You have had shoulder pain on one side only for at least three months that scores 4 or higher on a 0–10 pain scale.
- You have a large or massive full-thickness rotator cuff tear confirmed by an MRI or CT arthrogram.
- You have not tried or have not responded to standard treatments like pain relievers or physical therapy.
- You have not had a cortisone injection in that shoulder in the past three months.
- You have not had rotator cuff surgery on that shoulder in the past six months.
