Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- Colorectal cancer has spread only to your liver and you have no signs of cancer elsewhere.
- You have 5 or fewer liver tumors, each no larger than 3 cm.
- You are able to have all visible tumors destroyed in a single visit using heat ablation.
- You have not had more than two prior courses of chemotherapy or targeted therapy for the metastatic cancer.
- Your liver, kidney, and blood cell counts are adequate as determined by standard lab tests.
