  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD)
  • Your uric acid level is above 7.0 mg/dL
  • You have a BMI between 18.0 and 40.0
  • You have not had a kidney transplant
  • Your liver function tests are within 3 times the normal range
