- You will have a procedure to open blocked arteries within 12 hours of arriving at the hospital.
- You do not have other causes of shock, like infection or bleeding, and no recent major surgery that would prevent using the pump.
- You have not had a heart attack complication like a hole in the heart or a torn valve, and no blood clot in the heart or artificial heart valve that would prevent using the pump.
