New treatments for painful baby molars in kids

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 6 and 12 years old.
  • Your child is generally healthy and has no medical issues that affect dental care.
  • Your child has at least one permanent back tooth with a condition called MIH (enamel defects that cause pain and sensitivity).
  • That tooth has a cavity that needs to be filled (rated 2–6 on the ICDAS scale).
  • Your child can cooperate to complete the dental procedure in a clinic setting.
  • You and your child agree to take part and sign a consent form.
