- Your child is between 8 and 12 years old.
- Your child has no ongoing health problems (like diabetes or heart conditions).
- Your child has not had any injuries, cysts, or tumors in their mouth.
- Your child has not taken antibiotics or pain relievers like ibuprofen in the last month.
- Your child has at least two permanent back teeth with weak enamel that need fillings because of cavities.
- Your child is calm enough to cooperate during dental treatment (rated 3 or higher on the Frankl scale).
