Crisis response planning for service members with mild brain injury

This trial tests if creating a personalized crisis response plan helps active duty military personnel who have had a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and who use a smartphone. You'll work with a counselor to plan how to handle emotional or stressful moments.

Who can take part

  • You are an active duty military service member, age 18 or older.
  • You have had at least one mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI).
  • You can read, write, and speak English.
  • You own and regularly use an iPhone or Android smartphone.
  • You have not completed a crisis response plan within the past year.
  • You do not have active psychosis or moderate-to-severe cognitive impairment that would make participation difficult.
