Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have never had a stroke (for the healthy group) OR you had a stroke more than 3 months ago (for the stroke group)
- You do not have any medical condition that could affect the test, like heart, lung, or metabolic problems
- You have not had any pain lasting more than a week in the past 3 months
- You are not taking beta-blockers, antidepressants, or any medication that affects your heart rate
- You can follow instructions and communicate how you feel during exercise
