This study tests whether injecting an anti-VEGF medication directly into the clear part of your eye (cornea) can safely reduce abnormal blood vessels caused by a herpes virus eye infection. If you have HSV keratitis with new vessel growth and haven't had prior anti-VEGF treatment or corneal surgery, this trial may be an option for you.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with herpes simplex virus (HSV) keratitis (eye infection) that has led to new blood vessels growing in your cornea (the clear front part of your eye).
- You have not had any previous treatments specifically to block blood vessel growth (anti-VEGF) or any surgery on your cornea.
- You can understand and sign a consent form, and agree to follow the treatment plan and come for follow-up visits.
- You are not at risk of a hole in your cornea, do not have severe dry eye, and do not have a serious immune or nervous system disease (like diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, or an autoimmune disease).
- You are not pregnant, nursing, or allergic to the study medication.
