Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to the lining of the chest, causing fluid buildup.
  • You have trouble breathing because of the fluid.
  • You have not had any local treatment in your chest, like drugs or radiation, in the past month.
  • You are generally able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0-2) and expected to live at least 3 months.
