Who can take part

  • Your heart's pumping ability (ejection fraction) is 50% or higher.
  • You have at least one heart risk factor such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or obesity.
  • You do not have other heart muscle diseases like hypertrophic or dilated cardiomyopathy.
  • You have not had a heart attack or unstable angina in the last 30 days.
  • You do not have severe heart valve problems, irregular heartbeat, or a heart tumor.
  • You do not have congenital heart disease or conditions like cardiac amyloidosis.
