- You had a single ischemic stroke (clot-caused) at least 6 months ago
- You still have trouble moving your arm or hand on one side because of the stroke
- You are between 18 and 70 years old
- You have no significant memory or thinking problems
- You can safely have an MRI (no metal implants or devices inside you)
