- You have been diagnosed with ALS (probable, probable lab-supported, definite, or upper motor neuron type).
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are willing to do about 3 to 5 exercise sessions per week, each 30 minutes long, for the study duration.
- You are not pregnant, do not use a tracheostomy or continuous breathing machine, and have no other major lung disease.
- You do not have another brain or muscle condition that would affect the study results.
