Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with tennis elbow by a doctor
  • Your elbow pain started less than three months ago
  • You are 18 years or older and can make your own medical decisions
  • You have not had other treatments for your elbow in the last three months besides standard care
  • You do not have any of the following: severe sun sensitivity, loss of feeling in the arm, a pacemaker, pregnancy, or cancer
  • You have never had surgery on your affected elbow and do not have a pinched nerve in your neck causing arm pain
