Micra AV2 study: tracking heart rhythm and AFib

Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study looks at how well the Micra AV2 pacemaker tracks your heart’s natural rhythm and detects brief episodes of atrial fibrillation (a fast, irregular heartbeat). It is for people who already have or will get this pacemaker and have had AFib that comes and goes.

NCT05872776Recruiting
Home ECG monitoring to reduce atrial fibrillation episodes

This trial uses a home heart monitor (a chest patch with an ECG) to study how atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) changes over time and how this may help manage symptoms. You may be included if you have a documented, short-lasting type of atrial fibrillation and a moderate amount of AF seen on a 14-day heart recording.

NCT07444320Recruiting
Testing new energy pulses for atrial fibrillation treatment

This trial tests a new way to deliver energy (FARAPULSE PFA system) to treat atrial fibrillation (AF), a type of irregular heartbeat. It aims to see if these new waveforms can safely and effectively stop AF symptoms and improve quality of life.

Testing a new navigation system for heart ablation

This trial offers a new imaging and guidance system called VERAFEYE during catheter ablation for people with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat). It aims to see if the system helps make the procedure safer and more effective.

Micra AV2 pacemaker study for heart block

This study tests a small pacemaker, the Micra AV2, for people with a type of heart block that affects electrical signals between the upper and lower heart chambers. The goal is to see how well and safely the device works.

Study of Micra AV heart device timing in French patients

This study looks at how well a Micra AV heart device helps coordinate the heart’s timing. If you already received the Micra AV, you may be able to join as long as you consent.

Study of a new device for atrial fibrillation ablation

This study looks at how often silent brain lesions happen after a new type of heart procedure for atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). The procedure uses a device called the Varipulse catheter to help fix the heart's rhythm.
