Study of a new RNA-based drug for type 2 diabetes

Who can take part

  • You must be Chinese and between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You must have had type 2 diabetes for at least 3 months but less than 5 years.
  • Your blood sugar is not well controlled with diet/exercise, metformin, or metformin combined with other oral diabetes drugs.
  • Your fasting blood sugar is below 13.0 mmol/L and your HbA1c is between 7.5% and 10.0%.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 40.0.
  • You are not pregnant, plan to avoid pregnancy, and use effective contraception during and 3 months after the study.
