Testing HRS9531 for Type 2 Diabetes Blood Sugar Control

Who can take part

  • Age 18–70 and diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months
  • Blood sugar control level (HbA1c) between 7.5% and 10.5%
  • Currently managing diabetes with lifestyle changes alone for 8+ weeks, or taking only metformin (stable dose) for 8+ weeks
  • Fasting blood glucose not higher than 15 mmol/L and BMI between 20–40 kg/m²
  • No recent severe low blood sugar episodes, heart attacks, strokes, or severe diabetes complications
  • Willing to use contraception and not plan pregnancy for 2 months after the study ends
